Hopeful Home is a Nepal-Based Nonprofit Organization -- finically supported by Ten Friends -- that is dedicated to providing a safe and secure home for twenty school-age children. They provide orphans, street children and at-risk children with the fundamental necessities of life including food, shelter, education, healthcare, and most importantly, the warmth of a loving home. Hopeful Home actively supports a child sponsorship program that has benefits both for the child and for the sponsor. The sponsorship program is structured so that it connects two individuals through correspondence and enables the development of a unique relationship between the child and sponsor. A child knowing that someone cares about them and is there to support them is gratifying. It provides children with the essentials they need for a brighter future -- including education, nutrition and a loving home. Your support makes a significant difference in the lives of children, offering them hope and the opportunity for a better life.
We encourage sponsors to establish direct contact with children through emails, letters or even better -- personal visits. The personal connection is immensely rewarding for the sponsor. You will learn about the child's culture, interests and goals and see the impact of your sponsorship as the child grows older. Simply put, knowing that you are helping a child can be very fulfilling.
Sponsorships are Tax Deductible to the extent allowed by law. Opportunities for annual, quarterly and monthly reoccurring payments are available. The annual cost of sponsorship is $1,000 per year.

If you are interested in sponsoring a child, simply select one of the children to learn more about them. You may then proceed to pay online (preferred option) or by check. Pay by Check Form (PDF File). Once payment is complete, within several days you will hear back from Hopeful Home.
